IRCC Immigration Medicals

У нас є лікар, який говорить українською мовою. Якщо ви не розмовляєте англійською, попросіть когось, хто розмовляє англійською, зателефонувати, щоб записатися на прийом. Або напишіть нам українською чи російською на immigration[at]dmc.ca

All Immigration Medical Examinations must be conducted by a physician certified to perform the exam by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Your own doctor cannot perform the medical exam. Our physicians are IRCC certified panel physicians approved to conduct Immigration Medical Exams for IRCC. If you have questions read our FAQs at the bottom of this page.

The purpose of the immigration medical examination is to assess your general health and to identify any major medical conditions. The exam is intended for those applying for the following who have been advised by the IRCC to have this exam performed:

  • Permanent Residency
  • Student Visas
  • Worker Visas
  • Visitor Visas

All appointments are 30 minutes in length. You must bring a list of current medications and information on any present or past medical conditions that required treatment by a specialist physician.

The cost of the exam depends on the age of the patient:

  • Persons 15 Years and older:  $415 per Person (Exam, Blood Work, Urinalysis and X-Ray)
  • Ages 11-14:  $360 per Person (Exam, Urinalysis and X-Ray)

These amounts cover all costs.

The in clinic portion of the appointment is typically between 15-45 minutes in length.

After your exam you will need to visit Dynalife  Medical Labs for testing. This may take a 1-3 more hours depending on a number of factors.

It takes about 7 days for all results to come back to us. We will only contact you if the results come back abnormal. Note: if the results are normal we will not contact you.

Once we have all of your results and they are normal we submit the exam to IRCC.

If you are concerned about meeting a deadline to have your examination submitted, the IRCC uses the day you have your exam performed as the date (not the day the exam was submitted).  Once your exam has been submitted to IRCC it usually takes them about 4-6 weeks to update it on your application file.

This is why IRCC uses the day you have your exam.
